HI2003-02 is a single parameter instrument, capable of measuring Electrical Conductivity, TDS and Salinity .
4-ring conductivity probe
edge® uses a conductivity probe with four ring technology, which allows the user to measure samples at both very low and very high conductivities.
edge® automatically selects the appropriate scale for the measurement, adjusting the resolution to ensure the highest possible accuracy.
Capacitive keyboard
edge® features sensitive capacitive buttons, which make it even easier to navigate menus and screens, even when wearing laboratory gloves. As they are part of the screen, the buttons will never be blocked by sample residue.
Large LCD
edge® has an extremely clear 5.5 ”liquid crystal display with a viewing angle of 150 degrees. The values can be read without problems even from 5 meters away.
Edge® EC / TDS / Salinity is packed with many great features that ensure accuracy and ease of use.
Digital EC probe
edge ™ uses special digital EC probes, equipped with an integrated microchip. All sensors are automatically recognized by the instrument as soon as they are connected and send information on the calibration and serial number of the electrode to edge ™. With a digital probe it is possible to change sensor, without having to perform a new calibration, since the calibration data is stored in the sensor and not in the instrument. The information stored in the probe is the sensor type, calibration data and sensor serial number.
4-ring probe
edge® EC / TDS / Salinity is supplied with the HI763100 four-ring platinum conductivity probe, featuring a built-in temperature sensor for automatic temperature compensated measurements. The four-ring technology allows optimal measurements on a very large EC scale, with a much higher accuracy than that of traditional two-pole amperometric EC probes, which work on a smaller scale and can undergo polarization effects. The HI763100 probe has a glass and PVDF body with a PEI sleeve: materials that guarantee excellent resistance to aggressive chemicals.
3.5 mm mini-jack connector
the connection of the electrodes has never been so practical, fast and safe. All edge ™ probes feature a 3.5mm mini-jack digital connector, which makes sensor replacement really easy.
edge® is extraordinarily versatile. It can be used in different ways and environments, without taking up the space of a traditional bench instrument.
Wall support
edge ™ can be wall-mounted using the supplied support, thus freeing up valuable space on your workbench.
Multifunctional bench stand
The supplied bench stand also functions as a recharging station and is equipped with an electrode holder with swivel arm.
edge® is incredibly thin, measures just 1cm thick, has 8 hours of battery life and features two USB ports.
Double USB port
edge® is equipped with a standard USB port for exporting data directly to a USB key and a second micro USB port for connection to a PC and for battery charging.
Data storage
Storage of up to 1000 data. All readings include date, time and GLP information which can be transferred directly to USB memory or to PC (Windows or Mac).
Two operating modes
it can be used in "Basic" or "Standard" mode. Basic mode reduces the number of functions, increasing ease of use. In this mode the instrument only allows automatic temperature compensation, automatic readings adjustment and automatic cell factor correction during calibration. The temperature correction coefficient is fixed at 1.9% / ° C and the recording interval is not available. In standard mode, the user has options to change these settings.
